The resilience of logistics network against node failures

چکیده

This paper studies the resilience of logistics network against node failures in context express industry owing to disruption network. By considering flow capacity between nodes and impact each node's failure, we propose a load redistribution mechanism presence cascading which is akin criticality-based assessment or stress testing supply chain. To further investigate node/nodes simulate algorithms for two failure scenarios, illustrating different adjustment schemes improving strategies. A sensitivity analysis with managerial insights also performed effect on criticality

Evaluating Multipath TCP Resilience against Link Failures

Standard TCP is the de facto reliable transfer protocol for the Internet. It is designed to establish a reliable connection using only a single network interface. However, standard TCP with single interfacing performs poorly due to intermittent node connectivity. This requires the re-establishment of connections as the IP addresses change. Multi-path TCP (MPTCP) has emerged to utilize multiple ...

Network Resilience: Exploring Cascading Failures within BGP∗

Recent studies [1] have revealed vulnerabilities in the routing infrastructure of the Internet. It has been conjectured that these vulnerabilities could lead to cascading failures. In this paper we develop simple models for the interaction of routers, looking specifically at the clique topology. We construct two related models, and our analysis indicates that it is indeed possible to have casca...

Percolation Processes and Wireless Network Resilience to Degree-Dependent and Cascading Node Failures

We study the problem of wireless network resilience to node failures from a percolation-based perspective. In practical wireless networks, it is often the case that the failure probability of a node depends on its degree (number of neighbors). We model this phenomenon as a degree-dependent site percolation process on random geometric graphs. Due to its non-Poisson structure, degree-dependent si...

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
